This is a full time role
The Butler is to maintain the property to an exacting standard. He will be required to learn how the property and services runs and will provide updates to the UK office should he need any assistance.
He will ensure all personal items are handled – including but not limited to laundry, Jewellery, personal mail
Entertaining and serving guests when they visit
Overseeing cleaner to ensure apartment is clean at all times

A wonderful position for an experienced and organised butler to replace the outgoing Butler who has been with the principle for over 15 years.
You will be directly responsible, for the overall running of the fully staff household, ensuring the lady of the houses demands and expectations are met at all times, overseeing and organising any projects or maintenance works as required, for managing up to 40 members of staff including housekeepers, chefs and grounds staff, you will have an excellent knowledge and understanding with Protocol.
The principle enjoys to entertain, both formally and informally, you will oversee such events, ensure the standards are to the highest levels, liaise with the lady of house with menus, and place settings, location and so on.

Our International clients (a well respected professional couple) are looking for a professional House Manager / Butler / PA to oversee and ensure the smooth running of every aspect of their two fully staffed residences in Monaco and Cannes. The family have other properties and offices around the world including Amsterdam where you may have to visit once or twice per year.
You must be 'young and modern in mind' yet have the traditional skills and experience of serving at formal dinners for high profile and well known guests. The summer months in both residences are extremely busy - especially during the Cannes festival period. Experience gained within a private residence or private yacht will be essential. Your duties will include managing the staff and household accounts; handling the maintenance issues of each property; preparing the households for many guests and overseeing all aspects of the dinners and events.
Although a 'formal household' in some respects, you must also be comfortable wearing casual wear (jeans) when working.
It is essential that you drive as you will be travelling between the two residences on a regular basis (40 minute drive) and a good level of spoken English and French is required. The family speak fluent Dutch and English. You must also like and be willing to assist in looking after the dogs.
Due to the nature of the position the successful candidate must be able to present glowing references from previous employers and be prepared to have security checks.
This is a live-out position however package (possibly including cost of renting an apartment) will be discussed with the right candidate.
