A Private Chef / Personal Chef or Cook is hired by a family to cook customized meals according to the familys taste & food preferences.


The Private Chef Duties

  • Afternoon Tea or Cake Preparation

  • Allergy requirements

  • Cleaning the Kitchen

  • Dietary requirements

  • Dietician

  • Event Planning/ Organisation

  • First Aid

  • Food hygiene

  • Grocery Shopping

  • Keeping note of Clients preferences

  • Kitchen Accounts

  • Knowledge of Various Cuisine

  • Liaising with the House Manager/ Butler or Waiter for food feedback or future meal plannings

  • Meal Preparation

  • Menu Planning

  • Serving the Principles ( depending on households)

  • Staff Food

  • Stock Rotation


A Cook or Private Chef duties may be in conjunction with other job titles, depending on the household.
